Tying The Knot

Warning: Long post ahead with a lot of pointless pictures.

“So it’s not gonna be easy. It’s going to be really hard; we’re gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me.. everyday.” - The Notebook

The quote above sums up everything that goes through my mind when someone mentions the word marriage. They say that marriage is a lifetime commitment and I believe that it really is. So, if you’re unsure about things, do not tie the knot.

Headpieces Everywhere

As the lazy person that I am, I’m quite surprised how I’ve managed to make two headpieces in a day without complaints. I went to Elai’s at around 1 PM or so ‘cause we were supposed to shop for Boho stuff for my aunt’s Boho themed wedding but sadly, we got lazy and decided to stay home.

Elai and I got hungry and decided to go out and buy food. We ate a lot. Then, we went to my place to pick up so things from my crafts box so we could make headpieces. We went back to Elai’s and made her headpiece first. After finishing her headpiece, we made Summer’s headpiece.

After making Summer’s headpiece, my aunt decided to make me her doll again. This time, instead of using dark and shiny colors, she used light ones since the wedding would take place in the morning. Plus, I like the reddish eye shadow better than the golden one too.

Turn on Zombie Mode

I’m cranky in the morning and that’s a fact. I went shopping with my mum to buy Boho stuff for my aunt’s wedding and luckily, my mum paid for everything. What a good way to lighten up my mood, mother. Good job!

Then, we went to visit Boinky again. I was so sleepy the entire day, I thought I was gonna lose it when my mum asked me to go with her to her clinic. Good thing there’s wi-fi there or I would’ve dozed off in front of all of my mum’s patients.

Shopping isn’t really my thing. I’m lazy and I just hate looking at a lot of clothes that I’ll never be caught dead on. On the bright side, mum bought me a lot of food today so I guess it’s just fair that I suffer a little.

I was surprised to find myself awake when I got home. I even had the energy to make a floral headpiece. It’s simple, I know. But I think it’s cute and I like it that way. Plus, I enjoyed watching A Secret Affair while making that floral thing and there’s only one thing I can say about the movie: It’s something new. I mean, the first few parts are all classy and shit but the ending was just tragic. Kudos to Nuel Naval for directing such a great film.

100 Books Challenge: Accepted!

It was the first day of January when I thought “Why don’t I join this 100 Books Challenge? That way, I’d finally have a reason to never stop reading and to buy new books.” so I decided to do it and I’ll keep you posted on the books I’ve read on Twitter or here. I’ve finished my first book in a day which was quite amazing. The book was The Beatrice Letters by Lemony Snicket and I believe, that book was a very good start.

My brothers, mum, and I went to Boinky’s and stayed there ‘til 5 something. When I got home, my I went to Elai’s to pick her up. We had matching wallpaper and we both uploaded a photo of my aunt’s really cute wedding invitation.

When Elai went home, I downloaded The Possession and while I was waiting for it to finish, I watched Mean Girls. Then, my dad arrived with presents for us from our titos and titas. I finally had cash to buy Boho stuff. Thank God! I watched The Possession but the movie was boring so I started reading my 2nd to-read book which was Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler. I went to bed at 4 AM again. It’s been a habit and it’s unhealthy. Ick!

New Year’s Eve

Reaching 17K tweets before the year ends was my goal this morning and so, I was practically tweeting the entire day (and washing dishes). On Twitter, I found a new OTP: Jai Brooks and Ariana Grande. ♥

I was a little bit pissed this morning due to lack of sleep (?) but all was well when dad brought home some kwek-kwek for me to munch on. I watched 50/50 and all I can say is that seeing Joseph Gordon-Levitt makes me want to watch 10 Things I Hate About You all over again. Not only did I watch 50/50, I also re-watched Pitch Perfect with my mum. She seems to really love the movie as much as I do, she even told me it’s her new favorite movie. Very funny, mum.

We ate spaghetti for dinner and I was still tweeting my ass off. My family and I watched different movies together while I was helping mum prepare the food for the Media Noche. I couldn’t help but taste everything she was cooking.

I started hearing fireworks before 12 MN so I went out and took whatever I can with my phone. I didn’t really enjoy the fireworks since there were also firecrackers outside and I hate firecrackers more than I hate hearing Gangnam Style. I greeted everyone a Happy New Year and replied to the messages I got on Tumblr. I’ll do the blog reviews tomorrow. It’s already 4 AM. I better hit the sack. Good dawn!
