Sinulog 2013 Experience
I woke up really late and went with Elai to Fuente to see the floats for Sinulog. We had a hard time finding a parking space for the car since most parking areas were full. When we found a spot, we stopped at a street food stand and ate tempura. Elai and I managed to squeeze ourselves through the crowd and earned a pretty great view of everything. The floats were amazing and all the stars had us starstruck throughout the day.
We took a pit stop at Cybergate to make use of their bathroom and ate dinner at Taublee’s since it was our grandfather’s birthday. We were supposed to go to Ayala to see the fireworks but since we already have a great view at the rooftop, we decided to stay and eat a lot more. Sleepless Days
Tuesday
I worked on the final touches of your class shirt and our thesis. Luckily, gran arrived and brought us food. She also brought with her their new pup which was still nameless. It was such a cutie.
Wednesday
We went to Sto. Nino for the mass sponsored by our school. The place was pretty crowded and watching everyone sing and wave to the Bato Balani gave me goosebumps.
Thursday
It’s Spaghetti Bridge making day. During the entire Physics time, we got ourselves busy sticking pasta together to build the strongest spaghetti bridge. Our first attempt was lame so we divided the task and continued working at home. Sadly, I took a nap when I got home and woke up pretty late. So I ended up doing the bridge’s beams ‘til 4 AM while watching GGV DVD and Pitch Perfect with my mum.
Friday
We had our practice for the fluvial procession during CAT time and I can’t remember anything that happened during the entire day except for our practical test in PE.
Saturday
It’s fluvial day and I had no sleep. Wow! I started preparing my things at 2 AM since it was the time dad arrived and brought McDonald’s for me. Then, I made coffee for myself.
Saturday was also the day of the procession in the afternoon where my mum and I walked miles with my thing hurting like hell. I swear I thought I was gonna die in the middle of the street. But I survived, hurrah!
So, that’s the week before the most exhausting day of my life and one of the reasons why I was on semi-hiatus. Ugh, school really is hell.
Back-To-School Stress
The weekend was over and it’s back to stress week. Monday is a really long day but, that Monday was different. For the first time in months, I got home before 6 PM. So, I was asked to design our class shirt for the Ed. Tour and that was exactly what I did when I got home.
Then, I worked on our food for accounting. It’s a cookies and cream flavored ice cream thingo and it was pretty tiring. It took me a really long time to finish everything ‘cause I was doing both tasks all at once. I slept at around 2 AM and switched on le zombie mode for the rest of the day.
DB Family Day
Article writing was put aside during the DB Family Day ‘cause Elai and I went to DB to watch Gio dance and.. eat. Elai and I got there a little late so we just roamed around and bought food. Then, we watched the Bosco Bandahan and cheered for the bands we liked.
We bumped into a lot of animals and I don’t even know why they have animals around. There were sugar gliders, owls, snakes, iguanas, fishes, dogs, and etc.
We stayed a little longer to chat. Then, we went to my place to eat dinner. They scared the shit out of me with Christen’s gift. Corazon was the movie of the night and I finished my articles after watching GGV.
Anonymous: "Are you close with all of your classmates or do you have one that you often talk to?"
I have certain people that I often talk to but I’m friends with everyone in the class. Why?
